Singapore Young architects award finalist

YWA Studio’s founder and principal architect was nominated and shortlisted to the final 10 candidates to be considered for the2024 Young Architects Award.

“I am extremely honored to stand side by side with so many talented individuals and be recognized for the great work that my team and I have worked hard on. I am thankful and i hope that this spurs the team on to continue doing what we are doing. Every completed work is an accumulation of many many hours of sincere and thoughtful planning. Credit also goes to every individual of this amazing team, the work that we do we simply cannot do it alone; not if we wish to achieve the level of considered design and finesse that we are going for. 

I would also like to thank our amazing client’s who have been supportive of us, many of whom I have become good friends with through the course of the project. An architect can never create something amazing without a client crazy enough to leap off the cliff with him. 

Last but not least i would like to thank my family and friends who have supported me throughout the years. Even though I did not get awarded the prize, I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt thanks to all of you. I will continue to aim higher! “
